Fuse demo incoming on May 7

A demo for Insomniac's Fuse will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network on May 7, allowing players to play online cooperatively with up to four players, or in a 2-player split-screen.

In the demo, players will take on the role of Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux.

"When it comes to Fuse, the biggest thing we've noticed when sharing it with others for the first time is that playing is believing," said Ted Price, CEO and founder of Insomniac Games. "Fuse takes four player co-op in a new direction with features you won't find in other third person shooters: from LEAP where you can jump between each of the four unique agents at will to the experimental Xenotech weapons to the deep RPG-like character progression system. And by the way, all of these features rock for solo players as well. Join us in this brand new universe for a quintessential Insomniac Games experience."

Fuse will be available on May 28 in North America and May 31 in Europe for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I suppose it might not be as bad as it looks.

Am I the only one here who is willing to give the game a chance and not write it off already

No, I believe Captain Herpes has great optimism for it, but that sort of makes it a dead cert to be a turd.

Says the person who thought Aliens Colonial Marines was going to be good [.>_<.]

That was different, we were shown videos that actually looked good, besides it still wasn't the worse game this year thanks to the walking dead and star trek.

Seems fair but we should all know by now that even a turd will look good if we are only shown the best bits (In this case that was a bait and switch but my point stands)

I know, I still accept it's possible it might be alright, but they aren't going out of their way to sell it to anyone. So, even if it does turn out OK the marketing is hurting it so badly it won't make a difference. EA have history of this sort of thing, just look at Shadows of the Damned.
