Evening Newsround, May 7: PSN goes Indie, FIFA 14 dated? Fuse demo and new trailer

It's time for Newsround. There is certainly plenty to catch up on today, despite us posting a whole load of news throughout the day. So let's get started.

Sony launches Indie Category on PS Store

Sony has announced that it'll introduce a new 'indie' category to the PlayStation Store, allowing for more exposure for Indie game developers.

"This is an exciting space where indie content can receive additional exposure. It's an opportunity to showcase the best of these great games for PS3 and PS Vita," said Andrew Parsons, Director of Publisher and Developer Relations at SCEE.

"It's the first and best place to go for indie content (though of course content can still be found through the normal channels too)."

Retailer dates FIFA 14

A high street retailer has given FIFA 14 a street date of October 4. This would be about right as the game generally arrives at the end of September. EA has yet to officially announce the date, but we'll no doubt find out if this is right soon enough.

FUSE demo arrives along with new trailer

As revealed last week, a demo for FUSE is out now on Xbox LIVE, with the PSN version arriving tomorrow alongside the store update.

To celebrate this occasion, EA has also released a new trailer, check it out below.

Just the headlines

- Tomb Raider Shipwreck DLC out now
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 coming September 13
- Retailers list PC version of GTA V

That's it for today. Enjoy the sun, if you have any.

The inde store has been a long time coming really. But it's good to see them getting promotion now. I'll set the FUSE demo going from the US store tonight and give it a butchers in the morning

The FUSE trailer makes the game look great, although the character models look dated and there are too much explosions. Anyway, I am not too excited about the game. Maybe I will give the demo a go.

So when does the indie channel actually appear then? Not up there yet, but Retro City Rampage is half price to apparently promote it.

I wasn't really paying attention to Fuse, so I had no idea what to expect with the demo. I downloaded it though and played it for a bit and it is pretty fun! I played through the whole thing as Izzy. Going to try out other characters next. It seems that the release date is 3 days before my birthday so I might order it as a present to myself :D

I have tried the Fuse demo. And I must say I liked it. I was right about the characters though (at least partially). The female characters have the same face :D

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
