New details of Sony's and Evolution Studio's first racing title Drive Club have been revealed via Game Informer.
Information coming from the mag suggests that not only will you be able to play offline in single-player, but that the game will also have a big online focus.
Online sounds like it may be the place to be, with the ability to create events spread over multiple days, while also having control of weather conditions and race types. You'll also be able to play as part of a team and in fact encourage to do so, which could make for some interesting races. Offline you'll race using a single profile, although playing in this way means that other players will not be able to keep track of your progress.
Perhaps the biggest news coming from the preview is that there will be a lot of DLC support for the game, no doubt meaning new tracks, cars and perhaps even more.
Other little bits of information reveal that there will be damage to cars, although this will be cosmetic only. There will also be apps available outside of the game to allow you to keep track of your progress while on the move.
By the sounds of things, Drive Club will be a very interesting game indeed. We'd recommend keeping an eye on this year's E3, where we will no doubt find out a lot more information.
