2K Games CEO Strauss Zelnick has highlighted the upcoming financial year as a big one for the publisher, citing the upcoming release of GTA 5, as well as the release of some brand new IP's.
"Fiscal 2014 promises to be one of our best years ever, highlighted by the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 in September,” he said.
"We also have an extraordinary pipeline of titles in development for next-generation platforms, including groundbreaking new intellectual property and releases from our proven franchises,” Zelnick continued.
It's interesting to see him mention new IP's and indeed we wonder if the long missing Agent, which was announced as a PS3 exclusive quite a few years ago at E3 will make its long awaited debut. We're also interested to see what new games could appear from existing franchises. We already know about the new Xcom game, but will we perhaps see a new Red Dead Redemption game or maybe even a Vita title or two?
It's going to be an interesting year for 2K.
