Latest Charts, w/e May 19: Metro Last Light is number one

This week's latest charts are in showing Metro: Last Light as the new number one. Deep Silver will certainly be pleased, since its games have now been topping the charts for at least four weeks. In fact the publisher is holding on to both first and second spots.

Elsewhere in this week's charts not much else changes, although the rather disappointing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon does make its debut at number four.

You can check out the full top twenty below.

so happy to see last light up at number 1 not only for the look of the game which i cant wait to play, but after reading everything ive read about behind the scenes of it, they deserve the number 1 spot and i hope they all have bright futures after last light cant wait to see what they can do with some proper money!!

Same here, glad to see them get recognised. I'll support the devs come pay day and buy the game. but I have to play 2033 first. I had every intention this weekend of playing it, but I got sidetracked looking at cars to buy, and napping!

I've got mixed feelings about Last Light before I've even started on it, it looks great and am sure it has a good story, but I've heard the enemy AI is atrocious.

with the budget/work conditions if it doesnt have the odd issue then id be shocked, to do what theyve done with what they had is a miracle in itself!!! i really want these blokes to get a high budget project now, imagine what they could do!

The AI is really poor at times Gloria, but the game is still enjoyable.

It's supposed to be a really beautiful game in terms of environment, but they don't let you stop to admire it under punishment of death

Yeah, played a couple of hours now and still got mixed feelings, story and atmosphere are great but it takes a while to get going, for the first hour the most fun I had was attacking NPCs giant oversized faces with my lighter clutched in my tiny little hand. I swear the NPCs were more interactive in the first game too, I'm sure I could stop and talk to people in the metro stations, this time no one wants to know except key characters, and they hold your hand all the way. Still, enjoyable enough so far, but I don't think it's all that.
