Battlefield 4 gets October release date, available on both current gen and next gen consoles

EA has revealed that?Battlefield 4 is set to release this October, for both current generation and next generation consoles.

The publisher posted the news on the official Battlefield Facebook page, where it was revealed that the game would release on PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

It is currently unclear whether the next generation version of the game will have any differences other than technical improvements, but we expect to find out at E3 in June.

I assume it will have more players and be on par with the PC version for the next gen version. As in the 360 and PS3 you only had 24 players where im sure on pc it was 64 for battlefield 3

Given how terrible BF3 is on current gen hardware, I can't imagine how BF4 will look on the PS3 and 360. This will have to be a PS4 purchase

Now watch this. When Battlefield 4 comes to the PS4 & Xbox "One" PC moves from 64 players to 128 players

Cool that we have a release date, but after the sting of BF3's Premium Edition, I'll be waiting to buy the non-gimped version.
