EA online pass cost drops to zero on Xbox LIVE

EA has started to drop the cost of its online pass for numerous games on Xbox LIVE.

Titles affected are listed below. Is it telling that this only applies to Xbox 360 at the moment? Probably not, we expect the PlayStation Network will also benefit from the price drops in the near future.

EA Online Pass Prices - Now Free

Alice: Madness Returns - American McGee’s Alice (was 800msp)
Bad Company 2 VIP (was 800msp)
Bulletstorm Online Pass (was 800msp)
Dragon Age: Origins - The Stone Prisoner (was 1200msp)
Dragon Age 2: The Black Emporium (was 800msp)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Online Pass (was 800msp)
Mass Effect 2: Cerberus Network (was 1200msp)
Medal of Honor Online Pass (was 800msp)
Skate 3: Skate Share Pack (was 800msp)

If you have any of these games and for some reason do not have the online pass, now may be the time to grab one.

But funny enough havent dropped it for FIFA games and Battlefield 3 most of the games in the list are for games I would guess nobody plays anymore.

Black Emporium and Cerberus Network are the only ones actually worth spending money on.

What about American McGee’s Alice?

Should be for all EA games like Fifa and madden.

@nox I presume you can get that for free now as that came with the season pass I think

It came with every new copy & I was referring to how Johno didn't mention it in the things worth spending money on

I didn't play Alice to be honest

Mass effect 2 is still a popular title. But this is the start of something beautiful, Just remember: Unless you are buying a special/collectors edition- just wait for EA games to drop in price and then you will save money in more ways than one.

At first you think EA are being nice and actually listening to their customers, then you realise they are only doing this because the Xbox One is pretty much removing used games any way and if people do buy used then they still get a cut from sales so pass is not needed. EA just wanted to make themselves look good before that.
