The Last of Us Review round up

It's pretty much official, The Last Of Us is a hit, and if you don't believe us just look at some of the scores in our round up below. Critics love it, with only a few deviating from full marks and rightly so.

We said in our very own review that Naughty Dog's The Last of Us "is a work of art, a classic waiting to be played." while also adding that you should "Make sure you don't miss out because this game will be talked about for a long time to come."

We stand by every word.

You can pre-order The Last of Us below.

The cynical side in me thinks that gamespot gave it a lower score to drive people to there website.

I was thinking that about the 7.5 Polygon score, which I left out because it's a review I don't think is even worth reading.

Not surprising. I'm gonna give it a while to pick it up though. I was suckered into buying Infinite due to the overwhelming positive reviews only to feel like a douche for doing so. hopefully this will drop 10 quid or more in a month or so

Yeah, the gamespot and polygon reviews are horse shit. I don't buy them for a second. The dude that reviewed it on gs is gonna take hell too. This ain't the first time he's panned a game for bollocks reasons. Killed the meta score though. Still, it's scoring higher than infinite

Gamespot is negligible ever since their Zelda review a few years back. Making up problems that didn't exist and so on. I remember their LUigis' Mansion 2 one too where they didn't even list any faults and gave it a lower score.

As if things weren't looking bleak enough for 'Remember Me' already, now they have to compete with this!

I really cannot wait to get my hands on my Last of US: Joel Edition, super hyped to play it and fully immerse myself into what may be the best story in gaming history :3 Bring it on June 14th, bring it on.

The 'low' GS review was clearly just to increase site traffic.

@ shiny miller yeah I tho how you feel but I got remember me instead of the last of us even tho i also would of like to get the last of us on release date too. But ive been watching remember me since day one & I really cant wait to play it. Its seems to me just like when all the big releases happened around mirrors edge that got underrated so bad but I really loved that game it was original truly one of my all time faves this gen & I have the same feeling remember me will also be the shame league of being truly great as well. Never lose hope you never tho most people might get remember me & the last of us day one.

Gamespot's Last of Us cons: - Supporting characters are rarely sympathetic - Combat contains too many immersion-breaking exploits. Seriously? In the pros: Tense combat encounters with plenty of flexibility. I read gamespot, but I rarely agree with their reviews. Sometimes I feel that they set the bar too high, and at other, that they set the bar too low.

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
