Thanks Shep thought I was the only one that thought that. I never know why FIFA and PES show trailers like this as it looks nothing like that when you play it.

FIFA replay cams. It looks like they have re-evaluated the free kick mechanics again

It is a gameplay trailer though, it's just different camera angles used to show a better show of the 'features' that the game has.

I think Dortmund, Juve, PSG, Valencia and Spurs will be the demo teams this year

Would be a good selection of teams really.

EA would be stupid to not cash in on Bale, probably be front cover... unless they do the live covers again where you can print out your own for the team you support.

The live covers just don't look as nice really. They should go for Bale, but you never know what team he'll be at till the end of August, and they usually have their front cover decided way before then.

I would be surprised to see Bale leave this season. Hell he isn't the kind of poisonous player that Spurs usually have when they get a bit of media attention.

I don't think Bale will leave unless Real offer the £85m they are talking about. I can see him getting a new contract. It's the same with Suarez/Rooney, I can see them all staying unless great offers come in.

Liverpool would be stupid to not sell Suarez as the player is toxic to the squad, for the money he can get for him they could buy 4 players in positions that they lack squad depth.

I'll buy FIFA when it gets the fighting mechanics from NHL in it. Realistic Biting and everything!
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 4 years ago
I don't think he's toxic in the squad, Liverpool will adapt a 'they all hate us' attitude, which won't be far from what they think now. If they get an offer of £35m+, I think he'll go, but they won't sell him on the cheap. And you have to think, not many other clubs will want him after all the drama going about. Only Bayern or the Madrids will take him I'd say.

Depending on the coach who gets City job, they would probably take him just to show some intent in the transfer market.

my opinion is let him go if they get the 40 million because i think seeing coutiniho and sturridge together for the last few games was great, nice strong young partnership there so i think as JM said get the money and just spend it where its needed

City already have Fernandinho and Navas coming in for £50m+, but if htey lose Tevez and Dzeko, Suarez would be a great signing. I think Liverpool could be a better team without him, even though he's worldclass. Get £35m+ and sign Aspas, the lad from Shaktar, Papadopolous, Mignolet and probably a new LB. And they would have a stronger, younger squad that could compete with Spurs/Arsenal for that final ECL spot.

a LB that wants out is contraoe how ever u spell it the 1 from real madrid, would be a class signing in my eyes! better than jose and i dont think hes that old 23-24?
Johno Muller's avatar
Johno Muller 4 years ago
The LB is probably the hardest slot to fill, I don't think there are any Premiership teams with a 'world class' player in that position.

baines is the best left back in the prem in my eyes, then cole, used to rate evra but think hes not the player he was 2-3 years ago! why liverpool should go for him from portugal that i cant spell, he wants out of madrid and hes still young and i think a quality left back!

Coantrao rumoured to be an interest of Monaco though, so they'll have much better pulling power than that of Liverpool, no matter how big they are. Baines is the best LB you could get but he'll be at Man Utd if he goes to any club really. I'd go for the young LB Kolasinac who plays at Schalke. Young and looks very talented. Get a double swoop in.

Coentrao is amazing, Baines and cole are also top top LB's. Still think Buttner has potential to be up there aswell. Liverpool need to sell suarez and invest in players that want to play for the club, and not use the media as an excuse to get Champions league football. Enrique is a great LB, trys hard but does make the occasional mistake. Going to need a new keeper though as I can see Reina doing one to Barca when Valdes joins Monaco.

Heard a rumour not long ago that Real wanted to do 40m + Alonso for Suarez. I would bite their hands off for that to go through..

EMonaco = Big money with no tax on it. Most of Europe will be going at this rate. Give it a few years and Monaco will be back in the latter stages of the Champions League liek they used to be in the Morientes days.

I don't rate Buttner at all. Think he scored a lucky goal versus Wigan and the press got caught up with him. Yeah Bywater, beautiful city too. But the problem is they're signing players from Porto who didn't come close to winning the ECL in their time. They'll need some seriously good players to contest for the ECL. Alonso would be a cracking deal, I don't think Robben signing would be great as he is a bit too greedy in the same vain as Suarez. Reina leaving won't be a big deal anymore as the past 2 years he's been behind his best, where as a new keeper such as Simon Mignolet from Sunderland or Julio Cesar from QPR would be a better signing as they'll probably cost less.

I dunno I just like him, A decent attacking LB who does need to improve on his defending. Falcao is a great signing for Monaco, and heard that theyt might be going in for Terry too lol. The French league isn't particuarly strong so could see Monaco finishing top 2 if they keep adding decent players to their squad. Especially with Ibrahimovic debating his future at PSG. Reina has been extremely average. Bit gutted that Liverpool missed out on Jack Butland but I'm sure we will find another decent keeper in the market. Can see Julio Cesar going to Arsenal though, Not that they need him because I think Szecsny is amazing.

0000000000 4 years ago
yeah mignolet or cesar to lpool i think! i would also bite their hands of for 40m and alonso! would be the deal of the year easily! i can see u going for Vorm in goal in all fairness especially the way things are going at swansea between huw and laudraup! (my spelling is shocking i know) i can see skertle going Napoli then u should get (going for it) papadopolous from schalke! young and looks pretty damn good in my eyes balls to robben, let him make his own team and play solo! think you need a better winger, get sterling back him keep him going and replace downing! stick with sturridge and coutiniho playing off him it seems to work well, lucas and gerrard just behind and sterling and a top other winger! thats the way id go

I heard they're looking at a team like from the rumours atleast....Valdes; Sagna, Agger, Carvalho, Evra/Coantrao; ????, ????, Moutinho; Rodriguez, Falcao, ????. So just some key positions to fill in, but they've got a good young squad just nowt oo. Yeah, Lille are getting weaker, Lyon will lose some key players, Marseille Valbuena looking for a way out it seems, Aubameyang being chased from Saint Etienne, so it's all set for Monaco to jump up. I don't rate Butland, he's good, but he's not the best england young keeper IMO, I'd rather have Steele from Middlesbrough, he looks class.

If Liverpool Sell Suarez they still need to buy another striker. From what I have heard the club is fuming with Suarez as he hasnt said anything to them. I have also heard there was a deal in place for Robben but that has been thrown up in the air by Suarez. Sadly as much as I would love Alonso back I highly doubt he will come back to us.

Problem with Sterling as that too much expectation had been heaped on him and he had burnt out by January. Think Suso is a great young player and possibly even better than Sterling. Midfield is fine as it is imo, Lucas battles for everything and Gerrard speaks for himself. We have proved we can score goals without Suarez too, And Sturridge is looking more than capable of filling his boots in a liverpool shirt. Vorm would be an amazing signing, a great keeper and could see us getting him on the cheap.
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 4 years ago
I prefer Swanseas sub keeper, Tremmel, he had a great few months when Vorm was out. Vorm just seems a bit eccentric. Skrtel'll go to Zenit probably, just not good enough ball player for Rodgers, when he was excellent for Dalgleish/Hodgson. Schalke have 3 defenders (Felipe Santana, Matip and Howedes) who they can have at CB so Pap will hopefully go to Liverpool, he's great, strong, big and a good passer, just struggles sometimes with small quick players, but he'll learn, plus not many in the Prem uptop. Downings been decent this year, good player that you need if you're going to play Coutinho/Sturridge and another non working player in a team really. I'd go with signing a new winger, giving Borini/Aspas/Sturridge the job uptop and see how it goes. Borini looked dangerous v U21's England yesterday. New CM in to provide some goalscoring ability now Gerrard is sitting more deep, hence that Shaktar lad who finished their top scorer with 26 goals or something from midfield.

Robben to Liverpool? I really couldn't see Robben leaving a team that has just won the Champions League to a team that Isn't even in it. Can't see him fitting into Brendans "Philosophy" either. I want Suarez out Bindiani, No player is bigger than the club.

Aye Suarez stupidly answered questions about his future in uruguay, before speaking to Liverpool. He should have kept mum about it all and talked to Rodgers, but alas. Dzeko'd be a good signing too for Liverpool i'd say. Good on the ball and tall and strong. Sterling needs to be bled slowly into the squad really. Keep him on the bench, give him all teh cup games, let him start v the slow defenders etc. Suso is good but he tends to go invisible in some games too. Sturridge is looking like the good old Bolton/AVB Sturridge that we saw, but Pool just have to hope he doesn't turn in to the Di Matteo Sturridge.

Also Strurridge is out for about a month at the start of the season if reports to be believed so with Suarez suspended and Sturridge injured bit of a striker shortage to start the season.

Dzeko is massively under rated. Would love to sign him. Juventus May be signing Tevez aswell :D :D

I am torn on Suarez I do believe he owes us one more season after all the support the fans have given him but it may be better for the club to get rid of the bad publicity. But if it wasnt for Suarez we could of ended up finishing 11th or 12th this year and in my mind he was the best player in the league last year. But agree no man is bigger then the club. I will be interested to see if there is a £40million release clause or not.

£50m is just posturing I think. Anything about £40m would go for Liverpool I think. But Suarez will play as well as he can for Liverpool, so it won't matter if he stays so it's fine. Dzeko is under-rated, and if he is given a good run in the squad, he'd be hitting good numbers in the goals arena IMO. Suarez was the best player in the league IMO Bindiana, but for the games he won on his own, he also cost a few like games v Reading I'm sure it was when he was shooting from impossible angles when he has players sitting in the box waiting for a cutback.

As a Spurs fan (did you guess?), I'm happy with the focus given to Bale and I also fully expect him to stay for at least another year. He is becoming the poster boy for the league and based on this it looks like he'll be a cover star for FIFA14. More importantly what with the new shot and free kick mechanisms, it looks like he'll be awesome on it!
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 4 years ago
Bale will be an 88 player or so next year. They'll give him all the best stats of a good CF and all the good stats of a winger too, as well as his defensive stats still being up to scratch. - If Spurs do sell Bale, I wouldn't see it as teh end of the earth as they'd be able to switch styles to their more posession game. But with him and Lennon running the wings, they're a scary prospect for any team about.
Bindiana's avatar
Bindiana 4 years ago
I dont think Bale wants to go anywhere so I presume unless Spurs get offered something that cant turn down he will stay. @ Dynamite yeah Suarez can frustrate in games where he tries to take everyone on and score a wonder goal. But if he does leave will be a big loss to the premier league as there is a severe lack of exciting players in the premier league
Johno Muller's avatar
Johno Muller 4 years ago
I think EA will keep him as a LW I mean they only just moved him out of LB. I'd say Bale will 89-92 rated and the highest in his position. Strength, Pace, Long Shots, Finishing and FK Acc being his top 5.
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 4 years ago
Indeed Bindiana, he is a world class talent who I'd be happy to see stay at Liverpool. Knuckle him down and just get on with it. But if a massive offer comes in, it'll be hard to refuse. Quite a few good players coming in to the Prem this year now though with Belhanda apparently going to Villa, and he's a quality talent. - @Johno they made him CF for the past few months on Seasons, which is annoying having to play against a Spurs team with that beast running at you.

Spurs have a confusing squad in terms of the midfield for FIFA, Dembele, Sigurdsson and Dempsey all play out of position. If Spurs want to have Bale play CF they need a new LM who wants to play there
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 4 years ago
Sigurdsson has done well there over the season, but I believe if they want to keep Bale, they'll either need him to play LW or they'll need a new pacey LW to play there instead. Dembele, Sandro; Lennon, Bale; Holtby, Villa. Nice team.
