Minecraft: Xbox One Edition announced

Microsoft has announced that Minecraft is coming to Xbox One. It makes sense of course since the game has sold a bucketload on Xbox 360.

The Xbox One edition will allow for larger maps and provide support for more players whilst palying online. Graphically, the game appears similar to other versions but it's early days so this may change.

There was no word of a release date or price. You can see the announcement trailer below.

I love minecraft on the PC and can imagine this being an even bigger hit on the Xbox One than the 360.

When I saw this in the event I thought to myself 'Minecraft is good but I have it for 360. I don't really want to re-buy it'. After hearing the price of the console, I DEFINITELY don't want to re-buy it! Haha. Maybe one day if it goes on sale or there is a period of time with a lack of other games coming out. Until then i'm happy playing it on 360.
