PS4 HDD can be upgraded says Yoshida

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that you'll be able to upgrade the HDD in the PlayStation 4.

This comes in stark contrast to the Xbox One, which cannot have it's HDD swapped, despite consumers having to install every purchased game on the system. We aren't sure how Microsoft will get around this once people's HHDs start to fill up. Perhaps using the cloud? It'll certainly be interesting to find out.

What do you think of this news? It seems sensible to us.

Nice. Upgraded my PS3 hard drive a couple of years back with relatively little fuss, and still have loads of space on it. Good to know the option is there for the PS4 as well.

Nintendo announce the Wii2xU, Pronounced Double Ewe, with comparable to next gen specification only £350 or £200 with every WiiU console return Direct to Nintendo. Features complete backwards compatibility all the way back to the NGC and virtual console of every game since the NES from launch.
