'Magna Carta Holy Grail' was revealed in an advert during the NBA Finals last night. The three-minute promo shows the rapper working with producers Rick Rubin, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams, who is currently most recognisable as the songwriter who contributed with Daft Punk on their hit track 'Get Lucky'.
"We don't have any rules, everybody is trying to figure it out," he says, talking about the process of making music in the modern world.
"That's why the internet is like the Wild West. The Wild Wild West. We need to write the new rules. The album is about this duality of how do you navigate your way through this whole thing, through success and through failures, and remain yourself" he adds.
According to the album's website, a partnership with Samsung means that Samsung Galaxy users will have access to the LP 72 hours before its release on July 4.
