Call of Duty: Ghosts appears on Jimmy Fallon

Video game week continues on Jimmy Fallon and this time it's the turn of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

There is a nice Xbox One packshot of the game at the beginning, which makes you wonder how much Microsoft paid for such a plug.

You can also watch some gameplay, which involves the Call of Duty Dog, otherwise known to us and Dog of Duty.

Check out the video below.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is released on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, PC and Xbox 360 later this year.

Looks fun, no doubt. There is no better way to admit that you're not playing on BX1 than to say "If we had Kinect...." IT HAS TO BE THERE! Oh well. Still, I won't buy the game until I know the dog comes out of it alright!

I may try and convince the wife to let me have a GS as our next dog, and call him Riley. He (and the dog they used for mocap) are gorgeous!

Adding a dog as a story component, great. Killing it off for the sake of emotional gutpunch? no thanks. certainly not in a game.

To be fair about the 'xbox one packshot', PS4 had a packshot yesterday for Watch Dogs.

The original was better, but that's a discussion I generally can't win! I will never allow turner and Hooch in my house though (even before my hatred for Tom Hanks appeared) and i still blub at K-9!

I already know the ending. Dog runs into the room, you here a gunshot, you run into the room, find dog lying on the floor in a pool of blood, you take out pistol, you get shot, bad guy goes on about this being the only way the cleanse the world, bad guy takes out gun, dog jumps at bad guy before he can shoot, you crawl towards your gun, you hear 4 gunshots, you grab gun and shoot bad guy in slo-mo, you crawl over to dog and it's in pain, you shoot dog. How do you like it?

The animal killing doesn't bother me in games or movies really. The onyl one I was bothered about was I am Legend when he has to choose between leaving the dog or going after the only thing he has left, and that was more down to it being Will Smith I felt for, rather than the dog.
