Jay-Z unveils new track featuring lyrics from Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'

Jay-Z has unveiled his track 'Holy Grail' from his twelfth album, which has been released today following a surprise announcement last month.

The Timbaland-produced track, which was co-written by The Dream, features lyrics from Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' and guest vocals from Justin Timberlake. Another track on the LP, 'Heaven', will sample lyrics from REM's hit 'Losing my Religion'. You can hear 'Holy Grail' below.

'Magna Carta Holy Grail' will also feature a number of other guest appearances with Frank Ocean, Beyonce and Rick Ross all appearing on the album. It was released today in the US for Samsung users, who can obtain it through a special app. It will be available to everybody else on Monday.

I expect this to be blown way out of proportion by angsty teenagers. Nirvana were an alright band and Smells Like teen Spirit was a mediocre song at best

Angsty teens and 30 year olds that remember the excellent song releasing and the impact that bands like Nirvana had at the time. It's ironic that an album with the name Holy Grail can do something so sacrilegious

I guess writing his own songs got a bit too much for him.
