Ginx TV launches in the UK

TV in the UK has just got interesting thanks to the release of a new dedicated TV channel for gamers.

Ginx TV has now launched in the UK via channel 286 on Virgin. Checking out the channel we've noticed a wide range of content so far which seems to range from gaming news, to reviews, plenty of gameplay videos and also some Let's Play content.

Keep an eye on this channel over the next few days and let us know what you think.

Sadly, don't get Virgin Media in my area. Any chance they've announced a Sky release date yet? Knew it got delayed a bit ago.

Just had a look, looks OK, but seems to be a lot of repackaged content from their old shows.

I remember the last Gamer TV channel. After about 7 months they start recycling all the old stuff because there isn't enough money to do a full schedule of new stuff daily.

Weird thing, no adverts.

Oh dear, had it on less than an hour and they are already repeating stuff.

Is it just repeated footage, like how on Sky Sports News it just goes on a loop, or is it live where they just end up repeating themselves?

Sort of, just seems to be a constant stream of articles on games repeated from the Blurb, only seen one of them twice so far. Program schedule is a bit meaningless, when I turned on there was a show that was on the schedule, but since that finished they've just been cycling E3 stuff, and right now according to the schedule it's meant to be showing the first hour of gameplay from GTAV, but they're showing E3 stuff about MGS5.
