Nirvana's 'In Utero' to be re-issued for 20th anniversary

Like Nirvana's debut 'Bleach' and their breakthrough album 'Nevermind' that followed it, the band's third and final album will be re-issued in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

'In Utero' will be re-released as a deluxe edition later this year and will include four discs of bonus tracks and a 90-page booklet. The band have not announced exactly what'll be included in the package, but we'll keep you updated.

The re-issue will drop in September. You can watch the band pretend to give birth in in a bizarre 30 second promotional clip below.

'In Utero' was originally released in 1993 and is available to download now on ShopTo.

Good album. Overshadowed and under appreciated because of Nevermind, but a great album none the less.

My one goal is to get an actual discussion on one of these music stories that goes on for more than 5 posts. And is possibly even about music! I know, crazy right?

This should finally include the Steve Albini mixes at a decent bitrate and ideally on vinyl. By far the best version of Nirvana's best album.
