Sony has said that it is considering expanding its Playroom demo with more games in time for the launch of PS4.
Playroom is an interactive game which makes use of the PlayStation Camera and Dualshock 4. It impressed people at E3 so much that Sony is considering including it alongside the system and now buyers could get even more from the experience, although you'll need to add a PS Eye to your launch day purchase in order to make use of it.
Speaking with Polygon, SCEA senior producer Tsubasa Inaba said “Conceptionally it follows the DNA of [PS Vita's] Welcome Park.
“That’s actually the perfect example. Our R&D teams for hardware and our software teams worked to put that application together. It was a very similar situation for this one.”
Inaba also stated that internal Sony studios started to think of other games for the demo following E3 and when asked if it would be pre-installed on PS4 hardware replied, “Perhaps. We hope to have a more definitive answer to that question in the next month or two.”
