FIFA 14 Ultimate Team gets a makeover

EA has released new details for FIFA 14 Ultimate team, revealing all-new Chemistry Styles that make every player and every team unique.

"Like real-world football, chemistry influences a team’s performance so building ideal chemistry within a squad enables a team to perform at its best," says the press release. "Each Chemistry Style has a unique effect on the way a player performs by enhancing different player attributes. There are a variety of different styles that can be applied at every position."

Also added to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is new streamlined search filters which will help target coveted players in the Transfer Market as fans re-shape their teams based on the real-world performances of their favourite players.

FIFA 14 is out later this year, you can pre-order below.

Seems Schweinsteigers stats are higher too so that's good.

The chemistry system needs a massive overhaul. Too many times have I played a team with players from 5 - 6 different leagues with different nationality's still being in a 100 chemistry team.

I just want to know what XBOX gets that Sony doesn't.

Also, IGN had the image of the actual line-up there. It's like Hart; Richards, Vermalean, Kompany, Cole; Arteta, Gerrard, Lampard; B.Arfa, Hazard and Sturridge. Although not final, Lampard is down to 81, Cole up to 84, Vermalean down to 81, Gerrard to 82, Sturridge to 80.

Bale is 87 I know that much

And a CF on this game too it seems.

It's UT I bet he's still an LW in the actual game, because someone has to play that position.
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
He'll be able to play it on H2H, but UT he'll get the CF position after a week when they decide they can make money from a LM TOTW Bale.

Could be an interesting Spurs 11 with the new signings, Chadli can play LW does that make him a Bale backup or is Bale moving to CF behind Soldado?

You should follow @Sportformation on twitter. He's a spurs fan, even though he tries to hide it. But he believes Bale will eventually become a striker. I think he'll line up something like a midfield 3 with Sandro, Dembele and Paulinho with Holtby as back-up. And then have Chadli, Bale and Soldado as a front 3, with Sigurdsson and Lennon as more than capable back-up to them.

Ronaldo went RM > RW > CF > ST in the last 8 years so makes sense for Bale to do the same with his ability, only on the left and with LB too
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
Yeah. I think it will take some of the heat of Soldado too if Bale can play upfront. A dynamic front 3 with goalscorers like Bale/Chadil/Sigurdsson could be great for the club. I'm looking forward to this season more and more now.

Most of Bale's goals last season came from cutting in the right so a standard 4-3-3 formation with Lloris BAE-Vertonghen-Kaboul-Walker Sandro-Dembele-Paulinho Chadli-Soldado-Bale. Moving Chadli back swapping Paulinho for Lennon and Bale to the centre for a 4-4-1-1 formation when necessary.

Aye, basically it gives them lots of options as a team which is great for them overall. What they really need to hope for is Kaboul staying fit, as a defensive partnership of him and Vertonghen will be unbreachable at times.

Loving the Spurs chat in here! I actually thought Bale would be more than an 87 though on the new game, and it wouldn't surprise me to see that rating go up. I did notice Lloris on one of the screenshots only being an 84 though, which is down from 86 on last year. They said all ratings are subject to change though.

Also Dan (and any other football fans) there is a ShopTo fantasy league for you to join http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-leagues/81949/join/?autojoin-code=119339-81949

That's fine because Blackburn won't be a Football League team next season

don't know how you work that one out because league one is also under 'footbal;l league;'

Bale isn't leaving Spurs this year. Next year is dependant on how he does/how spurs do. And if Lloris is down, I'm going to guess it's to put him in line with the other keepers. In terms fo ability it should go Lloris > Cech > De Gea > Hart > Mignolet
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
And yeah Dan, you'd figure he would be, but as a CF, his rating may be a tad effected. Like he'd be a 89ish for LW, but at CF he doesn't have the passing and stuff that the better CF players have. Like Falcao on the wing would be 70ish but in his natural position he's the beast of a 90 rated player.

This is the rumour that got me thinking about bales future as a spurs player http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-transfer-news-gareth-bale-2080327

i hope he dosent go because i like to see as many quality players as possible in my country, just think he has taken a few to many lessons with tom daley

He won't leave this summer. Spurs are building the side that Bale sees as going somewhere in this league, and he'll want to see it out this year before moving on. Plus, at Madrid, who are the only ones who will literally take him, he'll be fighting for a starting spot with Cristiano, Isco, Ozil, Di Maria etc. It's a position he doesn't want to find himself in. He'd rather play another fantastic year and become the starter at Barca/Madrid than the rotation option.

There is a difference being booked for simulation and actual simulation, unfortunately his reputation has proceeded him towards the end of the season. It's worth noting that Spurs haven't had a penalty in 2 seasons.

Liverpool would be down some players with that attitude, and I don't think they can afford to lose many more, Tom, Marca are also reporting the Soldado deal as dead using the image of Baldini in the car from yesterday as a new picture leaving Valencia.

Liverpool haven't got too many divers, Want Suarez out anyway, the bastard. Yeh I know it was only a rumour but I can hope. Need all the help to get top 4 as we can get :P
Johno Muller's avatar

Sturridge, Downing, Gerrard, Mignolet are all divers
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
Gerrard biggest diver around :P - And Johno, apparently Valencia need to make cash by the 3rd of August, and that they're only a few million away from meeting the asking price. But Levy is happy to paly ball wit them and hope that Valencia come down to the Spurs offer rather than Spurs having to make up the €3m or so.
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
Mignolet lol
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
And Downing isn't really a diver, he's just a shitbag.
Johno Muller's avatar

Levy did the same with Lloris, and Vertonghen last season, and VdV the year before. He is very good at playing the market. He also has an advantage in that we are, once again, linked to Lopez and that there is still 2 weeks to keep going back and forth I expect if the deal is made then Spurs will be paying about 12mil for him plus future fees based on goals, appearances to bring it up to what Valencia want. Which Valencia will take I mean sure 30mil would be nice now, but 30 mil spread over 9 months would be even better in their circumstance.
LFC Bywater's avatar
LFC Bywater 3 years ago
Sturridge does occasionally, but nothing to the scale of Bale, Neymar and Suarez. Gerrard has dived once or twice in his career and Downing is just shit lol.
DynamiteWhyte's avatar
DynamiteWhyte 3 years ago
that's euros too, so about 25m quid which is good deal really. But apparently Levy wants him for £20m rather than anything else. He hasn't got Spurs in the good financial position they are in by throwing money around really. And Lopez is a good backup to have.

Downing a diver haha for Downing to be a diver he would have to take a player on and turn backwards and pass to a defender.
