Nice incentive on Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, still works out cheaper to buy physical copies though.

I would still rather have the physical copies as well never mind that they are still cheaper. Its good though that nintendo are pushing to try and get people to buy online.

Does anyone actually know why digital games are so expensive, I mean come on it's 100% profit, no production cost unlike a retail game, no buying preowned so all sales are profitable to the publisher and the fact that they are always there makes it more likely to be an impulse buy. I just don't get it.

Not actually that bad to be honest. £40 is still £5 cheaper than what Game will be charging. And assuming Wonderful 101 is the same price it aint that bad of a deal. But yeah. Not bothered about online, will buy physical. Less demanding on the internet.

Also when you compare £39.99 to what the PS3 and 360 usually sell new games at £49.99 if not more then its not too bad.

£39.99 was what Sony put The Last of Us up for on the PS Store on release day also. Every other first party title they've day one digitaled has been a lot less than even that to boot. It's third parties who take the piss with digital pricing these days.

They should add more incentives to buy the digital over the physical price should be the first thing. Even just a different skin or something ingame nothing that would affect the balance of said game hell even if the released the digital version a few days earlier. Also if anyone is interested here is a pikmin3 review http://www.gamesradar.com/pikmin-3-review/
