Saint's Row IV gets no approval from Australia

Live in Australia and looking forward to the government finally giving approval to Saint's Row IV? Well you're out of luck, again.

Saints Row IV was previously denied classification due to the inclusion of an alien anal probe weapon and while this has since been removed from the game in the region and instead placed in the DLC line up as some sort of work around, it seems the classification board is still not happy.

Once again the game has been rejected, this time due to “drug use related to incentives and rewards."

So there we go. On the bright side, you can pre-order and play Saint's Row IV in Europe and the UK.

Good Times.

You can import there but even ebay makes it hard as it wont allow you to sell Manhunt or Manhunt 2 to Australia

I find this pretty amusing just for the fact an Australian geezer was bragging to me about how good there country is compared to england.

I kinda want Saints Row now after hearing about one of the DLC plans. The Saints go back in time to stop THQ from going bankrupt

Damn, the Australian government needs to lighten up. Stick an 18 rating on there then let the people decide whether they want to see this content or not, like the rest of the world. So dumb how movies get away with much more than games do, even though the characters in movies are real people yet it's acted so it's ok.

The Australians have an 18 rating now so I don't see what the issue is. Surely at 18 you should be able to play whatever you want? Really glad I live in England when I hear things like this.

Surely this is to the benefit of Australians not allowing a game that borders on the retarded?

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
