UK Gaming Charts, w/e July 29: Minecraft builds a lead at the top


This week's latest charts are in and despite a pretty big new entry for Nintendo Wii U, Pikimin 2 falls just short of this week's top spot.

Instead the honour goes to the retail version of Minecraft, which finally knocks The Last of Us off the top and into third spot.

Kids don't look after their discs.... Deadpool has bombed down there too which is a shame for slightly above average game with lots of laughs.

Pikmin must have managed to sell decently for a Wii U game to get that high in the chart, but actual numbers are probably under 10k for the week, and it seems to have done nothing to bump Wii U hardware at all. Will be interesting to see how it's doing next week.
