Levine still hopeful of Bioshock on PS Vita

Irrational Games boss Ken Levine has said that he's working with both Sony and Take-Two with a view to getting Bioshock on PS Vita.

"I am literally trying to make a match between the parties," Levine told Kotaku. "They have to agree and it has to be a business deal. I've been trying to do that for a very long time. I'm still very much engaged in that. I can't personally greenlight the thing myself."

Levine also confirmed that he'd spoken to both parties "in the past couple of weeks" regarding the project.

Currently there are no concrete plans for BioShock to arrive on PS Vita, despite Sony announcing that the game would come to the system when the PS Vita was first announced.

Levine wants to do it, Sony want to do it... but Take-Two, who have the last say, most definitely do not. They've got no interest in handheld consoles at this point now they're plowing ahead with mobile development. Can't see this ever happening sadly.

Not only that they have the same problem with the Wii U at this moment of time where they just are not selling all that well. Hopefully it will come out, though i am not a fan of shooters on a handheld I would still give it a try.

Catch 22 I guess. Same with the Wii U in that third parties wont wanna bring their games to the consoles because of lack of sales yet some of these third party titles will help sell consoles. Saying that. If Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty on the PSV are anything to go by I'd be happy not seeing this than a crappy watered down version.
