Music Charts: Avicii holds no.1 for third week

Avicii is holding on to the no.1 spot of the Official UK Singles Chart for the third consecutive week, with his latest single 'Wake Me Up'. 

The Swedish producer achieved the fastest selling single of 2013 so far, when the track sold 267,000 copies in its first week alone. It's now sold over 545,000 copies according to the Official Charts Company

Lana Del Ray has climbed back up the single charts with 'Summertime Sadness', which sits at no,4 whilst John Newman's 'Love Me Again' and Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' hold no.2 and no.3, respectively. 'Best Song Ever' by One Direction completes the top 5.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Eliza Doolitle enters at no.12 with her new track 'Big When I Was Little' whilst Clean Bandit's 'Dust Clears' has entered at 43.

Britain's Got Talent contestants Richard & Adam have made it to the top of the albums chart with their debut 'The Impossible Dream'. X-Factor's Jahmene and Passenger share the top 3 with their respective releases 'Love Never Fails' and 'All The Little Lights'. Jay-Z's 'Magna Carta...Holy Grail' and Rod Stewart's 'Time' complete the top 5.
