New PS Vita firmware (2.60) arrives

The latest system update for Sony's PlayStation Vita (v2.60) has been released, adding a host of welcome new features.

New features include a PlayStation Plus icon to a game's LiveArea screen, allowing PS Plus subscribers to upload and download game save data to and from their online storage folder, while there is also now the option to auto upload save data to the cloud.

Also added is the ability to play content saved on a connected device, such as the PlayStation 3 or PC using the Vita's video and music apps.

Finally, by holding the PlayStation button, Vita owners can adjust the system's brightness, music controls, disable the microphone and more.

If we find any further additions we'll let you know.

You've always been able to do that with the PS button.
