Cross gen Xbox 360 and Xbox One achievements are separate

Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles will have separate achievements, so if for example you own FIFA 14 on both platforms you'll need to earn the achievements on both systems.

Speaking via IGN's ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, Xbox One architect Marc Whitten revealed the news, saying that, “every game has its own set of achievements, so if you’re playing Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox 360 and on Xbox One, you can earn a separate set of Gamerscore in each game,”

He also added that if you are playing the Xbox One version, you’ll getting "a much richer set of features", such as seeing your achievements progress on the Xbox One console or by being able to unlock new achievements throughout the year and earning real prizes inside and outside of the game.

What do you think of this news? Are you happy to have to earn the same achievements across both systems?

Achievement Hunters on you mark. Tbh Achievements are the worst thing to come out of this gen, that and CODs popularity.
