Nintendo today announced a new edition of Nintendo Direct. The broadcast, hosted by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata, will mainly provide updates on software coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in the remainder of 2013.

The new Nintendo Direct will be streamed from the Nintendo Direct website on 7th August at 3pm UK Time (4pm CEST).

Guess this is the long rumoured Wonderful 101 direct.

It'll probably be the main focus, still hoping for something unannounced for this year to be revealed.

If this is good I will go and try to find a good price for a Wii U, upgrading PC be damned.

Dont count on much. Sounds like its EU only. Most we'll see 'new' will be new trailers for existing announcements. If we are very lucky a new Smash Bros character. I'm betting it'll be Wonderful 101 focused for Wii U along with release date, price + Box for Wind Waker (Japan just got this so.) Some VC announcements. POSSIBLY something for Rayman, Disney and Splinter Cell (tho really this is up to Ubisoft/Disney to show off. Not Nintendo.) and on the 3DS side a trailer for Etrian Odyssy, SMT's release date, Phoenix Wright release date, Layton 6 news (possibly Layton vs Wright) a Pokemon trailer (maybe something new here.) and announcement of X + Y 3DS XLs

I'm being really cheap at the moment so it would need to be one heck of a deal

Not as many deals around as there were 6 months ago, but there's always Ebay if you don't mind second hand.

Na, I think I'll just get the PC rebuild out of the way first and then start thinking about the Wii U.
