Yakuza Ishin announced by SEGA

Sega has announced a new Yakuza title, known as Yakuza Ishin. Not much is known about the title at the moment, apart from it's main character who is called Ryoma Sakamoto.

More details are expected on the game later this week when Famitsu magazine releases, so until then we're not able to tell you more.

Could this be another PlayStation exclusive or will the series finally move onto other platforms?

I don't care. Give me my Yakuza 5 and maybe the HD Double Pack

The sad part is that they would have made far more money bringing the Yakuza HD collection out in the West (And would have been able to produce it at a fraction of the cost) than they did porting it to Wii U, where it flopped spectacularly last week. More poor decisions at the top from Sega.

Sega didn't expect the Wii U version to sell well

Also is it any surprice that year old ports don't do well on the Wii U? Maybe if they made games unique to Nintys platform they might sell well

I keep reading about how Trine 2 'did well' on Wii U, and it was a port well over a year old. Plus, there is literally no incentive for devs to make games unique to Wii U that cost anything more to produce than stuff like Hello Kitty Racing(Real game, seriously) and the like.
