gamescom 2013: DriveClub PS Plus version detailed; Buy game and get 50% off PS Plus for a year

Sony has revealed details of the PS Plus version of DriveClub, as well as detailing a few pre-order incentives.

First up the Instant Game Collection DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition gives you a selection of cars across all five classes, locations and race tracks featured that you can play in all game modes, but does not include all DriveClub content unless you upgrade.

Those who play the DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition, but want to extend their experience can get access to all the cars, locations, challenges, events and seasons by buying an upgrade to the full game – or just buy individual items as you go along. If you do decide to upgrade, everything you’ve earned so far will be carried over.

In addition to the above Sony's also revealed that if you purchase DriveClub at retail or digitally via the PlayStation Store, you’ll get a 50% discount voucher for a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription, which is a pretty sweet deal.

Other incentives are expected for pre-orders, so keep an eye on ShopTo.

Which do you think is the best deal?

This game just does nothing for me they should do it with a different game like Killzone or Infamous.

Packing the deals with the game that's a new IP makes more sense I think Zombie. Infamous and Killzone are proven sellers, Driveclub is not... though to be honest I can't see the game selling bugger all no matter what. Getting it free on Plus, even in gimped form, is going to ensure no one touches the actual full release.
