Not a massive racing game fan but if I was going to get one would go for Forza 5 it just looks shinier. Though at least I will get some version of this for free with PS plus.

That's why you get it with PS+ because it's not as good as GT or Forza.

"Looks like a PS3 game" Course it does what do you expect? Most launch titles will look the the previous gen, we are not getting the same kind of jump as we had from SD to HD

More of a small hop than a jump this time.

Look at Perfect Dark Zero then look at GTA V, hard to believe they are running on the same hardware eh? Give it a year or two before then jump becomes that apparent

I've seen a few videos of this now and on a purely technical level it's actual really impressive in a lot of ways... in particular the dynamic lighting/day & night cycling and track detail (Foliage in particular, often a sticking point for visuals in racers) are a lot more impressive than Forza 5 has shown so far in terms of visual fancies (Though it's been confirmed it sacrifices a number of graphical effects present in past Forza titles to achieve a 60fps performance). The reflections on the windshield in the interior view are quite nice looking also imo. Possibly it's not as impressive as other PS4 titles shown so far, but I've been pleasantly surprised by what I've seen from it out of Gamescom so far. The fact I won't need to buy it is going to be a help as well of course :)
