Rumour: Microsoft working on streaming service, codename 'Rio'?

It's being reported that Microsoft’s is working on its own streaming games service have surfaced which is currently rumoured to be called 'Rio'.

According to a CNET report, an anonymous source said the service us codenamed 'Rio', having moved on from a previous title of 'Ridgeway'.

It's also being suggested that latency could be as low as 45ms and that the streaming service may be used to make Xbox 360 games available on Xbox One.

What do you think? It's doesn't seem unlikely that Microsoft would want to compete with Sony's Gaikai does it?

It would make sense if they did. If i was in charge of the codenames for these things I would pick the most random possible ones like flamboo
