Xbox One day one patch will take 15-20 mins to download

The first time you turn on your brand new Xbox One you will have to download a day one update Microsoft has stressed that it’s not overly big.

Speaking as part of IGN's regular 'Ask Me Anything' feature, Xbox One’s chief platform architect Marc Whitten, said, "We are optimizing Xbox One so that the day one update is as fast as possible. While we’re still finalizing the details, we expect that the download will take between 15 and 20 minutes for most users."

Whitten also said that the company plans to continue the update the system around twice a year like it currently does with Xbox 360.

“Yes. Like we have done with Xbox 360, we will continue to learn from what customers want and love to iterate on the best dashboard experience.”

What do you think of the 15-20 minute wait? Surely it's not too bad if you've been waiting for months on its release?

Was the Wii U update not 1 hour so I was expecting something similar to that and if it is less then the better.
