New details of PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Order: 1886, have came out of the latest issue of Game Informer.
According to the article, The Order 1886 offers a mix of actual historical events blended with sci-fi and fantasy, adding that at some point humanity "splits" and a small group become “genetically different” with bestial traits. These folks are called "half-breeds".
As you'd expect, once the "half-breeds" get together, they decide to start a war which changes the course of history and centuries later, none other than King Arthur himself and his Knights of the Round Table decide they've had enough.
Thankfully, the Knights manage to find an odd substance called “Black Water” which when ingested slows the ageing process, allowing them to keep on living while this battle sprawls out amongst the centuries.
During the 19th century, the Industrial Revolution and the technology that comes along with it turns the tide in the favour of the knights. At this point in the game, the knights are based in the House of Lords in London, protecting the realm under the rule of the Lords Chancellor and your character, Sir Galahad, who has had enough and is questioning whether it's all worth it.
The Order: 1886 is this month's cover on Game Informer. If you want to know more then you can purchase the digital copy via iTunes.
