Halo: Spartan Assault coming to Xbox One & Xbox 360 in December

Halo: Spartan Assault, the top down Halo-universe based shooter, previously only available on Windows and Windows Mobile devices will be hitting Xbox One & Xbox 360 this December.

The team at 343 Industries and Vanguard Games announced the news via the Halo Waypoint news blog.

Today, 343 Industries in conjunction with Vanguard Games announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will be available worldwide for digital download this December for both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will pit gamers in a galactic-scale war against a persistent and overwhelming enemy from long ago – the Flood. With over 30 stimulating missions at your fingertips, play longer than ever with the all-new online Co-op mode and the Operation Hydra expansion that delivered an action-packed addition to the single player campaign.

Anyone play the Windows or Mobile versions? I missed out due to not being on Windows 8 or owning a Windows Phone device.

might be interesting, wonder if it has a story and if its canon, where it fits into the Halo universe

Is it that Halo game that was announced at E3?

I do own this game on on the Nokia Lumia 925. it cost a reasonable £5.49 and i really enjoy it. 25 missions split over 5 chapters. Lots of replay value. If this game is released as an arcade game and is as good, I will buy it.
