South Park: The Stick of Truth delayed until March 2014

Ubisoft has once again delayed South Park: The Stick of Truth, pushing it into 2014. Due out this December, the game will now hit sores on March 4th 2014.

Ubisoft announced the disappointing news through their online blog.

"Within three weeks after acquiring the game, we sadly realized we had to turn this thing upside down if we hoped to deliver the experience everybody wanted,” stated Ubisoft North America’s president Laurent Detoc. “It’s been such a major overhaul to get to the point where we are that we couldn’t let it go, even if that meant missing December.”

Creators of the popular series Matt Stone and Trey Parker also agreed with Ubisoft's decision. “We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park,” say Matt Stone and Trey Parker. “Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”

What's even more disappointing to me, is that, it was pretty much the best title I saw at this year's E3.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is still available to preorder at ShopTo on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Buy from ShopTo to receive the Ultimate Fellowship Pack DLC absolutely free!

I have faith in Matt Stone and Trey Parker that they won't let it get messed up, even if the gameplay may not be the best at least the story will be funny the most recent trailer was great.

The game was finished and they wanted to block Ubisoft from buying it, and now they are happy about it and working with them? Something about this doesn't feel right.

I must have missed that part, but yeah that does seem a bit strange.

I'm thinking they're sabotaging it from the inside, either that or they've sold out.

Wish they would stop doing this. I had it down on to get for Christmas, now there's literally nothing out in the next few months to replace it (because I'm not waiting on 3D World or Zelda again.) In fact I feel that this is Ubisoft's way of trying to get as many people to buy Assassin's Creed 4 at full price. >_>

i know trey parker and matt stone want the game to be perfect, my honest opinion is , ubisoft recently stated that they want to be the biggest in the world, so im thinking they knew it was gonna be delayed and it is bein overhauled to be released on next gen consoles too, it would make a lot more money if available on all platforms, but i may be wrong

Guess that means more time with GT6 and Bravely Default
