Early owner shows off Xbox One

Some lucky person in the US has got his console early after retailer Target messed up recent orders. In fact 150 people got hold of one, including some guy who had it banned from Xbox LIVE with the promised of it being lifted closer to launch.

Anyway, we won't go into that, instead we'll show you the video of a guy setting up his new console.

You can of course expect to see plenty of videos of me setting up the Xbox One, talking about it and showing of the games too. But that's for later, for now here's the video mentioned above.

System loads kinda long time... Anyway, that's what happened when you try to enter network before actual system launch...

Had a look at his unboxing video, I know he must have been amazed/excited, but its possibly the worst one I have ever seen ( not that we really see much) Hopefully they unblock him soon, so he can continue his praise for what he's experienced so far

Wonder if Microsoft are suing Target now? Accident or no accident u can't punish the people receiving console. But I can't imagine them being happy about this.

Not only did they say he would be unbanned, but they invited the chap to the Xbox One launch, and would make sure he got there, as it was not his fault he received the Xbox One early. Nice touch. I wonder what the repercussions would be for a retailer sending out the consoles early?

I'm sorry but how often does this stuff happen in the UK? I know someone that works in a distrubution warehouse for games/consoles and people are instantly sacked if they are caught taking games home early now it used to be ok 3-4 years ago but not any more. Usually stuff like this is stolen, I'm glad he got banned until the 22nd and has to wait to play like the rest of us.

He should be banned for life for being stupid enough to connect it to the internet weeks before launch and not realize he'd get banned. But if they banned all the stupid people Xbox Live would be pretty dead I suppose.
