Some brief details on how Twitch will run on the PlayStation 4 have been revealed via the launch event taking place in New York City this week.
According to Game Informer, while the interface looks familiar, it offers streamlined usability not before seen on consoles. Apparently you'll no longer need a separate screen to monitor comments as the Twitch app on PlayStation 4 smartly places the chat feed on the right hand side of the screen. The site explains that not only can you see how many are watching and subscribed, but you can see everything being said about your performance right on your television.
If you have the PlayStation Camera then you can also add yourself to the stream, as well as being able to toggle the camera on and off, use your microphone, and turn the chat panel off entirely.
We can't wait to get hands on with this ourselves. Maybe we'll even have a ShopTo stream so that you can watch us play (fail miserably) at the latest games.
