PS4 to be in 'good' supply across Xmas

Andrew House has said that Sony is trying to get the console in as many territories as possible without running short of stock and in this respect has managed it's inventory so that gamers will be able to both pick one up at launch or from stores throughout the holiday season.

"You try to strike a balance, particularly for us with such a strong brand in all the European countries and across the Middle East. We are ensuring that we have the broadest reach to ensure that people are satisfied, especially when they’ve been loyal to brand for so long.

“On the other hand, we’re not engendering frustration by having a shortage of supply. I think through the holiday season that we’ll be in good supply,” he said.

Earlier in the year House announced that Sony expects to sell 5 million consoles by the end of March 2014. With 1 million already sold in the U.S this target certainly seems reachable.

I'd rather they focus to ensure there's no hardware problems for us early adopters, than getting "the console in as many territories as possible".
