Select Xbox One titles increase in price by £5

The price of select Xbox One first party titles has risen on Xbox LIVE by around £5.

Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome are now priced at £49.99, whereas before they were all £44.99.

Prices for other Microsoft-published Xbox One titles such as Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3: Premium Edition, Lococyle, Powerstar Golf and Zoo Tycoon all remain the same.

What do you think of this? Is it an odd move? What do you think the reason could be for this price rise? Could it be that they were priced wrong in the first place?

Seems an odd move by them I am guessing they saw Sony selling there first party stuff at the price and thought they would match it. Its one of the things I thought xbox one did better out of the 2 there pricing of first party games.

Funny that 2 of the games have Rising and Ryse in the names - rising price and a price ryse on those 2! Maybe it was an initial promotion? I bought Dead Rising 3 from shopto with controller skin, but then was able to get the Day One content for free, which seemed to be free for a limited time, so in the end did not need to get the Day One version from GAME for £5 more :)
