Dark Souls 2 producer says "No DLC"

Dark Souls 2 producer Takeshi Miyazoe has said that From Software isn’t planning on DLC for the game at this stage.

Speaking with Edge, Miyazoe said, “For Dark Souls 2, we don’t even expect any additional downloadable content because we want to deliver a full game, the full experience, to fans who purchase the package from day one.

“We did do additional content for Dark Souls, but generally downloadable content for Dark Souls 2 is not really being considered. Buy the package and you’ll get the full experience, and you’ll have as much fun as anybody else.”

Dark Souls 2 is coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2014, you can pre-order below.

An admirable attitude which many big publishers/developers could learn from.

Didnt they say the same thing about Dark Souls before it launched, and does this have preorder DLC in some places?

They did say that and they were sticking to it but there was the petition for the PC port and most people wanted some DLC based on Artorias

Also no Pre-order DLC, all the pre-order stuff is physical
iMerle iDixon 2 years ago Also I hate it when they sway on something just because of the internet been pissed, you don't tell an artist how to paint.

The Pre-order weapons are just skins

Title should say "No DLC planned" since I'm sure people will want an expansion next year, myself included
