Vita 2000 announce soon?

Sony is teasing a new announcement for next week, and it could quite possibly relate to the release of the PS Vita 2000 (or PS Vita Slim) in Europe.

Considering Sony has already released two versions of the PS3, we doubt it'll relate to that and given that a new PS Vita was release in Japan recently, one which is 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter than the existing model, we are guessing that this is more than likely related to that.

We are quite excited at the prospect of any sort of buzz surrounding the Vita, so this could be quite exciting.

If this is a reasonable price, like under a ton, I might be interested.

maybe they are going to announce that they are halving the price of the 32gb memory cards and above as they are totally ridiculously priced and if people can't fit things on their cards then it puts people off buying digitally. GET A GRIP SONY AND STOP RIPPING THE CONSUMER OFF !

Maybe they'll announce some games for it? And not ports of games you can already play on the PS3? Having said that. There are quite a few games out next month (pretty much more than it's 2 year history thus far.) but nothing particularly amazing. We need to be wowed. And throwing another version of a console that nobody wants isn't gonna do anything.
