PlayStation Now beta invites being sent to U.S PS3 owners

It looks like the PlayStation Now beta is about to kick off over in the U.S, with Beta invites being sent out to PS3 owners.

IGN published a screengrab of a beta invite email, which willl include “access to test the PlayStation’s game streaming service before its full launch and give the opportunity to provide your regular feedback to the PlayStation Now team.”

There is no mention of which games will be available to play, other than it saying beta testers will have “access to a library of popular PlayStation 3 titles”.

PlayStation Now is expected to launch in North America around the end of 2014 and is expected to provide access to PS3 titles, while PS2 and PSOne is expected to be emulated by the service. PS Now will appear on PlayStation devices and eventually, mobiles, tablets and Bravia TV's.

The UK and Europe should get the service sometime in 2015.
