More than half of PS4's 4.2 million owners have subscribed to PS Plus

Sony has announced that more than half of the 4.2 million PS4 owners have taken out a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Speaking regarding the service, Sony Corporation CEO and president Kaz Hirai revealed during last week's earnings call that of all the 4.2 million PS4s that have already moved into the hands of consumers, more than half of the people that have now gotten their hands with the PS4 have actually signed up for PS Plus service.

Sony said that there an now over 150 million PSN members, which is pretty impressive.

I wouldn't call it 'impressive'. Now, if online play was FREE like on the PS3 then YES it would be but you need a PS+ subscription to play online...

As above ,totally moot point now its a pay to play online . Very much improved on the free service .I cant believe they would even try to brag about this .MS have kinda let this lie now as far a Gold subs go ,i guess Sony just need time to learn to shut up

On the plus side PS+ did give me a bunch of games I wouldn't bother paying money for so it's not all that bad.
