Titanfall Beta now open to all Xbox One users

EA and Respawn have opened up the beta for Titanfall to all Xbox One users, meaning that users do not need a code to download the beta.

In addition to the above, the beta has also been extended for a day. The PC beta is to open up later.

"Note: It may take some time until all Xbox One’s can see the demo in the store. Some members may see it before others. Until then just relax and rest assured everyone will see it soon," said Microsoft’s Major Nelson.

We've been playing TItanfall. It's good fun even if (I am) are a bit rubbish.

Well ive been playing the beta over weekend and have to say that its very good for sure. Is it going to be a massive game changer I dont think so but its nice to play a game where there is no lag the game itself feels well balanced as well unlike b4 which just gets worse all the time. If you like fast paced shooting give this a go you wont be dissapointed. Im sure that there may be a lot of comments from PS4 owners who will say its a COD knockoff but its not.

The game is ridiculously easy, the bots are stupid, I've played the beta for 6-7hours and my average overall KD is 7.9 and my average human vs human KD is 2.8, I played the entire beta with a group of 3 friends and I was trying not to hate or dislike it but it's far to easy for me, some moments are fun like when ya in ya Titan and ya beat a 2v1 or 3v1 Titan situation, but for me it's just not challenging enough and I feel like the AI are just there to give the terrible people something to shoot at, I'll be passing on this game as I don't want to play something that's so easy but it could be really good if they took out the AI and double the human player count so like 12v12 but with only 12 titans allowed on the map at the same time 6 on each so it's not over ran with mayhem, basically the AI ruin what could be a really good game.

I agree that the AI is a bit easy but they could change that before release, but on the outher hand its great for people who dont have time to play the game a lot or people not that good at FPS games to have some fun. Yet anouther bonus there was no campers in any of the games as its to fast paced for them and they would get killed easily.

I've been playing the beta over the weekend. To be honest, when I found out that there was no campaign mode, I cancelled my preorder. When I was invited to play the beta version, I thought "why not?", so I downloaded it and had a bash. Usually I don't like multiplayer games; I like to play at my own pace and not get ganged up on by a load of die-hards that have nothing better to do but play these games to death. I was also dubious how the things would play out in the game too. I assumed that it would be a race to a select few Titans and then others that didn't get to one in time was just blown away by them, but reassuringly, each player is assigned their own Titan and this can be summoned after 2.5 mins into the game. The game was fast-paced, fluid and yes, it is a little 'COD familiar', but it could be said that it is 'Battlefield 4', 'Halo' or pretty much any FPS familiar, but the mech-hybrid element changes the dynamic of the game, instilling the genre with a new lease of life. There is a very simple-to-follow tutorial that you can play before diving into the action. This also outlines new skills unique to this game as a FPS, such as running along walls and manipulating the environment to access out of reach areas. You also learn how to master the controls of the Titans, and this talks you through every clearly and coherently. What else can I say? Playing the beta has inspired me to preorder the game again and I cannot wait until launch! I think that this will be a landmark title for this year, most certainly. I am not sure if EA are still allowing sign ups to the beta version, but here is the link for anyone interesting in trying it: http://www.titanfall.com/beta Sam
