Outlast to get 'Whistleblower' DLC this April

Developer Red Barrels has revealed that it will release some new DLC for PSN and PC title, Outlast, this April.

The DLC, known as Whistleblower, will let you play as Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff and the man who emailed journalists around the world – including Miles – at the beginning of Outlast.

Here's a description from the Red Barrels Facebook page.

"Spending a couple of weeks at Mount Massive, during which he was unable to even talk to his wife and son in Boulder thanks to strict security protocols, Weylon developed a deep-seated distrust of the profit-motivated scientists and doctors leading dangerous and irresponsible experiments on their patients. Identifying with those poor souls fuelled Weylon’s anger, and set the stage for his unmasking of Mount Massive’s rotten core.”

The DLC pack serves as a prequel, although also extends past the events of Outlast, giving the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum’s story.

Never understood the mentallity of people asking for free DLC for a game they recieved free on psplus. How are the developers meant to make any money.

I'm so happy about this DLC and can assume it will be coming to PS4 aswell? Loved streaming it the first time and crapping myself. Just gotta give it a couple of weeks for the scares to become scary again and stream all over again on Insane mode :) If anyone is a fan of streaming just search MaximusBulkus on twitch, stream everyday.
