Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition comes to PS Plus, along with Tomb Raider and more

Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition will be released on PS4 next week, which probably comes as a surprise to no-one.

It's been rumoured that the game will be part of the latest PlayStation Plus update and that has indeed been confirmed.

The game is an extended edition of the PS3 version and comes with “numerous enhancements, full 1080p HD, improved textures, rendering and effects; improved controls; a quick weapon select and lots more."

Check out a new video of the game below.

In addition to the above, it's been confirmed that Tomb Raider and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be free downloads for PS3, PS Plus Subscribers, while those who also own a PS Vita will get access to Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD and Smart As.

So, in summary:

Leaving PS Plus on 5th March:

- Outlast/Sound Shapes
- Metro Last Light
- Guacamelee! (Cross Buy)
- Dynasty Warriors Next
- ModNation Racers Road Trip

Entering PS Plus on 5th March:

- Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition
- Tomb Raider
- Brothers A Tale of Two Sons
- Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD
- Smart As

Not a bad month to be a PS Plus subscriber with all three consoles.

Not bad at all. Enjoyed Dead Nation on PS3. Co op was a blast. Am not sure what to think about Tomb Raider. As I was planning on getting it for PS4 once it was cheaper. But since it is on PS3 now is it worth it? Heard very good things about Brothers A Tale of Two Sons. Not the biggest fan of Pixeljunk games but I will give this a try at least. Not sure what Smart As is am guessing its a Brain Training game?

Dead nation looks like fun. Good chance to play brothers as well as have heard loads about it and never got round to buying/playing it even though i know what happens, will see if it lives up to the hype.

@Ocelot, Smart As is indeed Vita's answer to Brain Training, apparently though it has some neat gps features and it's voiced by Monty Python's John Cleese, worth a whirl if thats your kind of thing :)

oooh get you, spelling police :) However Joe I was simply poking fun at the other day when you kept saying "MY opinion, MY opinion" so felt "UR" was more appropriate in this case. And no I'm not backtracking either! ;) Look at my next comment to Ocelot, I used "your" correctly...
