Latest Charts, w/e March 22: inFamous Second Son takes top spot

Sony and Sucker Punch Productions celebrate a first PS4-only All Format chart number one, thanks to Infamous: Second Son, which debuts as the second biggest week 1 PS4 new release, behind Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Shadow Fall, was of course, a bundled launch title, so this makes Sucker Punch's achievement all the better, especially since it went up against a popular multiplatform title in the shape of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which itself took the number two spot.

In third spot is EA’s Titanfall, which saw its sales drop 73%, while Square Enix’s ‘Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster’ for PS3/Vita took forth.

Rounding up the top five is Ubisoft’s ‘South Park: The Stick of Truth’.

As for hardware, PS4 was the top selling console for the week, thanks in part to Sony restocking hardware in the UK. Xbox One sales were down on the previous week.

Here's the full top 40.

I'm am sure that most of the people who wanted Dark Souls 2 bought it on release day.

I predict a very sharp drop in sales for Ground Zeroes next week judging by the amount of second hand copies there are on Ebay already.
