Seth Killian confirms his departure from Sony Santa Monica, says studios has "Stellar" line up

God of War developer and Game designer Seth Killian has confirmed that he has left Sony Santa Monica to "do" his "own thing."

The former Capcom fighting game expert left in December 2013, although he says that those concerned that Sony Santa Monica are now left a little short on talent have no need to worry as the studio has plenty of surprises for fans.

"You'll see the games I had the privilege to work on at Sony soon--SMS has a STELLAR lineup coming. As for what I'm up to, stay tuned."

It's great to hear that Santa Monica is working on more than one title despite the sad news of a round of layoffs at the studio not that long ago.

Are excited for Sony Santa Monica's new projects?

So the games he worked on are "So Stellar" yet he still felt the need to leave? I keep hearing the same from Sony lately, "Games will come soon" ... "Plenty of surprises coming soon" .. Yet all we keep hearing is more whispers/rumours that games are being pushed back. Drive Club "could" be pushed back into 2015 ( if it ever releases at all ) .. "Uncharted 4, same say don't expect it before mid 2015 at earliest" ... "The Order 1886 "might slip into 2015" .. I see a pattern developing here :-/
