New Halo Digital project in the works from Ridley Scott

It sounds like E3 is going to be very Halo centric for Microsoft, after it was revealed that Ridley Scott will executive produce a new Halo 'digital feature project' in collaboration with 343 Industries and Xbox Entertainment Studios.

The project is due to release later this year and will be directed by Battlestar Galactica director Sergio Mimica-Gezzan. This new project is in addition to the Steven Spielberg project announced at E3 2013 and will not feature Master Chief as the lead protagonist. If we hear about both of these at E3, along with the rumoured Halo 2 remake and of course, the new Halo, then you can pretty much guarantee that Microsoft will be spending quite a bit of showtime on its most popular franchise.

Are you a fan of Halo? If so then you'll no doubt be happy. But if you're not a fan, what do you want to see from Microsoft at this year's E3?

I've always really enjoyed the Halo series. Not the biggest fan of multiplayer but always enjoyed the campaigns/story and co-op modes. Interested to see what Mr Ridley Scott is doing.

I've enjoyed all the Halo games I've played (bar ODST but I didn't *hate* it). Be interesting to see what directions they take it in and if Destiny can win over a slice of their key fans
