Sony and Microsoft trademarks for new titles

Sony and Microsoft have both been busy filling new trademarks recently.

First up is Microsoft, which has filed a trademark for Eden Falls, which seems to be an online game, which could quite possibly be for tablets or use them in someway, i.e via SmartGlass.

The trademark describes Eden Falls as “an online computer game”, although that's about all we get.

Fortunately Gamespot also noticed that a new Eden Falls Twitter account has been created which links to Microsoft’s Lift London studio. This studio is apparently focused on digital release for “tablets, smartphones and beyond” and the last we heard it was working on at least three projects.

Microsoft also recently filed trademarks for Snap Attack, Secrets and Treasure and Screamride.

Finally Sony has also been busy filling trademarks, for both Kill Strain and Entwined. Both trademarks have the standard description as follows:

“Computer game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software.”

So what do you think?

My thought: Sony doing it's job as usual, M$ trolling it's fans as always...

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
