Ubisoft reveals sales figures for key titles; Assassin's Creed series sells 73 million

Ubisoft has released some interesting stats in respect of the Assassin’s Creed series, as well as other series in its arsenal.

According to the stats released, the series has sold 73 million units to date, making it the best selling Ubisoft franchise by far.

In fact no other game comes close, although that doesn't mean sales of the others are not respectable. Just Dance for instance has sold 48 million units, while the Tom Clancy games also seem to do a decent job of raking in the sales.

Here's the list in full.

Assassin’s Creed: 73 million
Just Dance: 48 million
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: 30 million
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: 26 million
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: 25 million
Petz: 24 million
Rayman: 25 million
Imagine: 21 million
Prince of Persia: 20 million
Driver: 19 million
Far Cry: 18 million
Rayman Raving Rabbids: 14 million
The Settlers: 10 million
The Experience: 9 million
Anno: 5 million

Do you think titles such as The Division, The Crew and Watch Dogs can help Ubisoft pull in a few more million sales?

Thanks, NintendoLife.

In all fairness though they release an Assassin's creed game every year so you would expect higher sales on that fact alone. Not complaining of course as it's one of my favourite games.

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
